I really enjoyed the Masterpiece Collection, I am just learning about Charlotte Mason and I like the way the activities were set up.
Two years ago I bought the beautiful advent tea time set, and now I've just bought the complete year set...I printed it all off immediately and put it beautifully organised (which was so easy!) into folders, ready to go! We've cleared a special place, filled it with crockery, and so on, so my 8 year old son can easily host our lovingly named, 'Teapot Treasures' sessions! With a teapot each, the snacks from the curriculum for that week, and the beautiful print outs, we are so excited to go through this curriculum and the geography one, and then we're saving up for the history ones! They're all just so easy to use, beautifully and carefully put together, and such great conversation starters! Thank you for the care and beauty in every single sheet! As a homeschool mom, I am always looking fun and inviting material. I will be starting this in July as we are doing year round learning for start of the school year. Everything looks beautiful and neatly put together.

We are Charlotte Mason inspired and Composer/Art/Poetry have been on the want-to-fit-it-in list but I could never seem to make it a priority. These guides have been the ticket to get it done in a gentle way. We started with the Art Mysteries guide and my kids loved it and asked for more! Now we're starting in on January and it's been so fun! I haven't added in the recipes quite yet but I think we'll do it here and there. Thank you for this awesome resource!
This curriculum has opened a whole new door for homeschooling. There is not a rush, there is not chaos and there is not clutter. You will see a complete difference in your daily routine.
I do it a little differently— I print one-sided and laminate. I cut these up and incorporate them into the different subject areas. For example, for poetry I cut out the poems and put them on a ring on my language shelf and my kids will read through the poems. For art, I put it on my art shelf. I cut up the big picture into cubes. Then my kids have to look at the small picture with the information to puzzle the painting back together and then read about it. We also circle back at the end of the month and my kids will choose one painting to do “art inspired by___.” For the composer, we listen in the forest and dance/move how it makes us feel. Then on car rides, I play the compositions on the way to where we’re going. For the convivial, we read together. We sang carols. I have not tried the baking recipes, but I am excited to.

I just got this to prep for next year. The goal is to pair it with a global history curriculum. After looking through everything I can't wait to start. I'm so impressed with the material. We have young kids and it is great for them. It is also something my husband would like to put in a rotation with other sets we bought since the kids will get something different out of it every few years. So grateful we found this!

We did the first week and my kids (ages 8 and 9) loved it. It really spoke to my mom and myself as well. A beautiful mixture of art, music, history, and Scripture to help us reflect on Advent and prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus.
